Essential - Tabbed Boxes

  • Use tabbed boxes to organise comprehensive content or to avoid having too many boxes on a page.
  • They work best when you group similar content together and allow for content to be condensed into a smaller area.
  • Avoid having too many tabs - one line of tabs is preferred but no more than 2 lines of tabs.
  • Use title case for the tab names and keep them as short as possible. Add descriptions or explanations to a Rich Text / HTML field beneath if needed.
  • Tabbed boxes may be floating or not.
  • Please note: when adding cover images in a horizontal layout in tabbed boxes, add only 3 items per row. Recommended are no more than 6 items.
