Key Resources (OPTIONAL)

An optional key resources box may be used on the Welcome page, directing them to primary resources and illustrating the relevance of the LibGuide. The box type is generally not encouraged.
The key resources box may be a standard box or a tabbed box.
The key resources box can include a variety of resources e.g. texts, eResources, legislation, eVideos and web resources considered essential to the subject.
If helpful, use descriptive headings in the text box relevant to the items displayed. In standard boxes format headings using the format Heading 5.
The key resources box can contain just one item but no more than 10 items.
Keep the box as concise as possible.
Tabs in tabbed boxes should not go over one line. Use only up to three tabs.
Box name can be Key Resources or Key eResources or content type specific if applicable e.g. Key Web Resources.

Standards Online
Includes current Australian and New Zealand standards, draft standards and amendments. Australian Standards are protected by copyright law and a licence agreement. It is possible to set up alerts to keep track of updates to standards.
National Construction Code (NCC)
Provides minimum requirements for fire safety, accessibility, sustainability in the design, construction of new buildings (and new work in existing buildings) and plumbing and drainage systems throughout Australia.

IBISWorld
Provides research and analysis on over 500 Australian industries, including statistics, trends and forecasts. 750+ Australia industry reports and 5,000 Australian and New Zealand enterprise profiles can be downloaded or viewed online.
LinkedIn Learning
Contains 10,000+ high quality online courses teaching creative, business and technology skills. The courses are available at all levels from beginners to advanced. The platform provides personalised course recommendations and is aimed at self-directed learning.
