The readings pages are usually made of the following boxes which contain resources retrieved from the academic subject guide under section 5. Recommended reference materials provided by the HE section.
Resources listed under 5.3. Online resources will be added to the following boxes:
Resources recommended by teachers that are not part of the 5.1. Prescribed texts or 5.2. Recommended readings can be added to a box with the following name. This can include texts of which weekly readings are retrieved from e.g. books or journals.
Boxes with recommended resources suggested by librarians will include the word "Suggested".
Suggestions should be only made if they are vital for the subject and the content of the required boxes is not already overwhelming. You can also create boxes for single eResources e.g. Standards Online or LinkedIn Learning.
Whilst students in a course will be enrolled in specific course version of the online course platform, the library guide may cover different versions of a course and include old unit pages for course in teach-out along with similar named new units.

Sub headings in readings boxes are only required when:
1. It is necessary to distinguish between what must be read, from what is suggested/recommended or additional to be read.
2. A specific sub category of reading format is included in the subject guide- eg 'Case studies'. You can use the format as the heading. Don't separate videos; book chapters; web pages etc with headings.
3. Items that are not referenced have been included in the reading list - whole websites; podcasts; journals.
Note: Whole books should be placed as book assets in a separate box and not included in a weekly reading list.
