Libraries have a range of spaces, including the following:

• Social spaces
• Quiet reading spaces
• Individual spaces
• Group spaces
• Group rooms - booking required

TAFE NSW Libraries have a wide range of equipment available for loan. Contact your local library for more details on what is available to you.

From the TAFE NSW Student Guide:

"TAFE NSW learning environments have internet connections and Wi-Fi. TAFE NSW reserves the right to monitor and record all usage of its computer networks, and to take disciplinary action when breaches of expected behaviour and access occur."

TAFE NSW Libraries have computers and laptops for students to use in the library.

You can use these devices to research, access software products for your course work, and complete assessments.

Please note, some libraries will require you to book a computer during high demand periods Contact your local library for more details.

If borrowing a laptop you will need to have your TAFEcard and sign an annual lending agreement form.

Bring your own headphones/headset for use with library computers and laptops.

Virtual Learning

To interact in virtual learning you will need access to the following equipment:

• Headset - please bring your own headset with a microphone (double plug or USB connector)
• Camera - some library computers may not have a camera. Please bring your own or contact your library ahead if you require access to a camera.
