Role of the Editors Group

The Opening Hours and Contacts page is maintained by the group of editors listed below

Please note that only those Library staff listed as editor members and LibGuides admins have access to update these pages 

Members keep an eye on: 

  • state wide messages about upcoming holidays being added to the page 

  • vacation hours being added and removed in a timely manner 

  • campus/library closure alert boxes- adding, editing and removing/hiding 

  • adherence to guidelines specific to the page (Guidelines tab on Opening Guides page, only accesable in edit mode) 

  • recommendations for new guidelines, clarifications 

  • helping with any technical issues  

Opening Hours and Contact Details Team

The team members are nominated by the Library Network Leads and are responsible for updating hours and details and adding and removing alert boxes.

Changes to layout to improve mobile access and accomodate future information on traditional owners. See associated paper endorsed by the LSLG.

Geographical Areas

The guide is arranged via the old Institute geographical locations as this still represents the best way to divide the state into navigable sections. These Institute names, renamed Regions, are still used by TAFE NSW for locations.

Library Networks are an internal staff-facing structure. There are no plans to rearrange the groupings to suit our current Networks
