The Opening Hours and Contacts page is maintained by the group of editors listed below
Please note that only those Library staff listed as editor members and LibGuides admins have access to update these pages
Members keep an eye on:
state wide messages about upcoming holidays being added to the page
vacation hours being added and removed in a timely manner from both the LibGuide and the LibCal room bookings
campus/library closure alerts
adherence to guidelines specific to the page (editors please refer to instructions provided by LTS)
recommendations for new guidelines, clarifications
helping with any technical issues
Team members are nominated by the Library Network Leads and are responsible for updating hours and details on both the A-Z contacts and ad hoc changes on the Lib Cal site.
If your Network team member is on leave please contact another team member to request updates and changes.
Library staff who have received training on editing the A-Z Contacts site will be provided with detailed instructions on editing and maintaining the content on the site.
For feedback on the instructions or support please contact LTS or log an LTS ticket via Service Now.
New A-Z site launched https://tafensw.libguides.com/az/contacts. Old site hidden.
Changes to TAFE website. All links to Campus information should now be updated. Maps are missing, but we presume these will be re-added soon.
Student room bookings links, information and icon added.
As of June 2024, members of the editing team maintain the room booking details for all libraries with appropriate spaces on LibCal. This includes staff bookable spaces not linked on the Opening Hours and Contact Details guide.
All members of the editing team have Admin rights in LibCal to make the changes. (Donna asks Nicole Doherty-Wiley or Megan Tsui to add/remove members)
Members may be notified by their Network Leads of changes that need to be added. Its important that notification of closed periods - either part or whole days - are acted on immediately to prevent students from making a booking when the library is closed.
