Download the ePlatform app if you want to access and read eBooks on your device via the ePlatform App.
For further information and requirements check:
1. After opening the ePlatform App, use the Find Your Library feature to connect to the TAFE NSW collection. Search for and select TAFE NSW - CCH.
2. You can now start browsing. You will be prompted to sign in if you want to read a book.
3. Sign in with your TAFE NSW username and password.
1. Search for the title that you would like to download and click on Borrow. This will allow you to download the book for 13 days. If you have not signed in, you will need to sign in and re-do the search.
2. Click on the blue Read button.
3. The book will automatically start to download and the messagewill appear on the top left hand corner of the page. When the book has finished downloading the message will change to
.
You can navigate the book by either tapping or swiping on the left and right of the screen to move through the pages. Alternatively you can tap on the bottom of the screen to display the Table of contents icon where you can select a particular chapter.
To go back to the Library, tap on the screen then click on the arrow in the top toolbar.
Note: When you exit, the page you were reading is automatically bookmarked. When you reopen the book it will open up on the last page that you were reading.
The Store Offline function in ePlatform will allow you to save eBooks to your device so they can be read even when there is no network connection available.
1. To store a book offline, tap on the top of the screen to view the toolbar and click on the three dotslocated on the right.
2. Click on the download icon Store offline.
3. All books that you open to read will be automatically stored.
4. When you are offline and want to read a book that you have stored, navigate to Home and click on My Loans. The book will open up on the last page that you were reading.
Note: If you are having trouble loading an eBook, click on Clear Content located at the bottom of the store offline screen. This will re-download the content from the server.
