Which App Should I Choose?

You can choose from two different apps to download CCH eBooks. The app you choose will depend on the type of device you use and whether you want to download eBooks from other providers as well.

ePlatform App

When to choose the ePlatform App:

  • If you want to access and read CCH eBooks via the ePlatform app only.
  • If you want to be able to read CCH eBooks offline without downloading any additional software.

Limitations

  • You can only use this app for downloading CCH eBooks. You will need a different app for other eBook providers.

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) App

When to choose the ADE app:

  • If you are using an eReader device. 
  • If the eBook is only available in PDF format.
  • If you want to download the eBook on your PC or laptop.
  • If you want an app that can be used with other eBook platforms e.g. EBSCO eBooks and ProQuest eBook Central.
