FAQs

You do not need a PressReader account to read publications online. But if you want to personalise settings or download publications for offline reading, a PressReader account is required.

PressReader is freely available for current students and staff. If you are asked to pay that indicates that you have not activated your account or authorised your apps correctly. Follow the instructions on the Getting started page of this guide. Contact your local library if you need help with the activation process.

  • If you do not know or have forgotten your password, contact your local campus Student Administration Office or call 131 601.
  • Library staff may also be able to reset your password. After asking you a number of security questions, they can give you a temporary password that you need to reset as soon as possible.

Try to access PressReader with a new incognito window if using Chrome (Ctrl+shift+N) or an InPrivate if using Edge (Ctrl+Shift+P). This will remove or ignore any cached or saved browser settings.
