If you have already downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) app, there is no need to download the EBSCO Mobile app.
Download the EBSCO Mobile app if you you want to access and read eBooks via the EBSCO mobile app only. A current TAFE NSW username and password is required to authenticate the app.
If you want to download eBooks to a desktop or laptop for offline reading, you will need to use the ADE app. The ADE app is recommended if you want an app that can also be used with other eBook platforms e.g. ProQuest eBook Central.

1. After opening the EBSCO App, use the Find your Institution feature to connect to the TAFE NSW collection. Search for and select TAFE NEW SOUTH WALES.
2. Click the blue Connect your institution button.
iOS devices only: At the ebscomobile pop-up window click on Continue.
3. At TAFE NSW login screen, login with your TAFE NSW username and password.
The app is now authenticated for 3 months, after which you are prompted to re-authenticate.

Once you have downloaded your eBooks you will find them on the Home screen as well as on My dashboard.
Go to the Home screen and scroll through the Recently viewed books at the top of the screen. To view simply tap on the book.
Alternatively, click on the Like button and select the E-books tab. From this screen you can see a list of the books that have been checked out as well as when they will expire.
Note: If you are already viewing a book you will need to navigate your way back to the Home screen by using the back arrows located at the top of the screen.
