Springer eBooks Support: Searching and Features

The TAFE NSW subscription includes Computer science as well as open access content from all disciplines.

By default, your search is limited to: the subject computer science, the format book, and English language. These limiters can be removed to see additional content.

At the left sidebar, refine or expand your search by format and subdisciplines. 
Untick the Include Preview-Only content to access full-text content.

Basic and Advanced Search

Using the quick keyword search launches a search for the chosen term e.g. cloud computing. This can then be limited by content type and disciplines. 

Click the settings icon to access the Advanced search.

The advanced search will allow you to specify search criteria, and search specific fields such as title, author/editor and date published fields.

Where the title contains: Network security circled | where the author / editor is: Joseph Migga Kizza circled | Show documents published between Start year 2020 and End year field left blank | Include Preview-Only content box unticked | Search

Untick the Include PreView-Only content to ensure access to full-text content.

Results can be sorted by Relevance, Newest First or Oldest First and limited by Date Published.

Sort by: Relevance, Newest first, Oldest first | Date Published

The left side bar has additional options to refine your search by Content Type, Discipline, Subdiscipline, and Language.
