FAQs

There is no copy or print option provided but you can highlight a chapter and copy and paste it into a Word document.

You do not need to create an O'Reilly account. When you log in with a current TAFE NSW username and password, the Your O'Reilly account will be created automatically.

Downloaded content can be kept for as long as you are a current student.

Only selected O'Reilly books and videos are available via TAFE NSW Library Catalogue. Log in to O'Reilly to access all titles available.

You will find your notes under Highlights on Your O'Reilly in the right top corner of the homepage.

Yes, content you have accessed previously will appear on Your O'Reilly account.

  • If you do not know or have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the instructions in the Student self-service: Password reset guide. Remember, this only works in a browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, not on a login screen on a TAFE Library or classroom device.
  • Alternatively, contact your local campus Student Administration Office or call 131 601.
  • Library staff may also be able to reset your password. After asking you a number of security questions, they can give you a temporary password that you need to reset as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. Most eReaders, including Amazon’s Kindle devices, prevent the installation of third-party applications.
