Access to O'Reilly is set up using Single Sign On (SSO).

Training
If you have not used the app for a while or you use an unauthenticated link, you will be prompted to sign in. Please note that only current TAFE NSW students and staff have access to O'Reilly.
If you see the following message, click on Sign in.
At the next screen, enter your TAFE NSW email address and click the Sign in button.
Click on Sign in with SSO to confirm your membership with NSW TAFE Library Services.
This will redirect you to the TAFE NSW login page. Sign in with your TAFE NSW username and password.
Why is there no Download icon?
If you use O'Reilly on a desktop or laptop, you cannot download content. Downloads are only available within the O´Reilly app. Go to the App tab for instructions.
Can I print or download a chapter of an eBook?
There is no copy or print option provided but you can highlight a chapter and copy and paste it into a Word document.
Do I need to create an O'Reilly account?
You do not need to create an O'Reilly account. When you log in with a current TAFE NSW username and password, the Your O'Reilly account will be created automatically.
How long will O'Reilly books and videos stay on my device?
Downloaded content can be kept for as long as you are a current student.
Can I find O'Reilly books and videos through the library catalogue?
Only selected O'Reilly books and videos are available via TAFE NSW Library Catalogue. Log in to O'Reilly to access all titles available.
If I make notes in an eBook where can I find them later?
You will find your notes under Highlights on Your O'Reilly in the right top corner of the homepage.
Can I see a list of the content that I have previously viewed?
Yes, content you have accessed previously will appear on Your O'Reilly account.
I do not know or I have forgotten my TAFE NSW password
Can I open O'Reilly eBooks in my Kindle eReader device?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. Most eReaders, including Amazon’s Kindle devices, prevent the installation of third-party applications.
