IBISWorld Support: Searching and Features

Searching

To locate IBISWorld industry reports you can either search by industry, keyword, company or report code. Alternatively, you can browse by industry. 

To do a search enter the search terms into the search box located on the home page. There is also a Search option Search icon on the navigation bar located at the top right of the screen. A selection of related reports will appear either with the industry iconor the company icon.

 

To Browse click on either  Industries, Products or Resources  located on the navigation bar at the top of the screen, and select a report type from the drop-down list.   

 

 

Company Research

Australia (AU) & New Zealand (NZ) Enterprise Profiles  

IBISWorld’s AU & NZ Enterprise Profiles analyse the leading 5,000 Australian and New Zealand enterprises. Each report has ten chapters and includes full financials for each company. They also include: 

  • SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis
  • Gender diversity information (key personnel and board members)

Industry Research

Industry Research Reports provide key statistics and analysis on market characteristics, operating conditions, current and forecast performance, major industry participants and more. Each report has the same format. Reports available are:

 Australia Industry Reports provide a comprehensive analysis of an industry.

 Australia Specialized Industry Reports cover emerging, niche or smaller industries.

  Australian Business Environment Reports cover the effect outside drivers have on industry.

   Australian SME Industry Reports cover small-to-medium enterprises.

Navigating a Report

When accessing both industry and company reports a navigation bar appears on the left of the screen.

To search within the report enter a search term into the search box to go to a specific area. Alternatively click on each heading to expand a chapter.

 

Downloading a Report or Chart

To download a report or print a chart, click on the download icon located on the far right of the screen. Download options for reports include PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Charts can be downloaded as image files, as CSV or they can be printed.

Printing a Report or Chart

To print a full report you will need to download the report in the format you would like e.g.: PDF, Word or Excel. There is no option to print directly from IBISWorld.

The option to print a graph or chart is available directly from IBISWorld.
