Adding reusable Flipster assets

• If you have only one or two publications to display, consider using a standard box. Horizontal boxes are recommended for 4 or 8 items and will help to save some space on a guide. 
• Use the Book from the Catalog feature at Add/Reorder and select Reuse Existing Book.
• Search for the publication titles e.g. Horticulture - eMagazine and add them to the box.
• See what Flipster publication assets are available in Flipster covers available in assets.
• If you cannot find the Flipster publication assets you are looking for, contact the Image manager.
• Do not select copy, the item needs to be mapped in order for the cover to be updated.
• Avoid using a gallery box for Flipster publications on guides as assets are not mapped, only copied. 

Reusing the Flipster carousel boxes or widgets

• Using Flipster carousels is low maintenance as the latest issues appear automatically in the carousel.
• You can copy the box which will allow you to modify the box title and add additional information to the box.
• Alternatively, you can reuse the widget assets. Use the Add Media / Widget feature and click the tab Reuse Media /Widget. Search for the widget that you want to reuse e.g. Flipster carousel - Architecture.

Instructions for re-using the Flipster sample boxes

• Click the Add Box link and then click Reuse Existing Box. 
• Select the Guide A-Z Databases - Reusable Guide. 
• Then select the box Flipster Sample Box.
• Tick Copy before you save it because you need to make changes to it.
• You can remove the content type "eMagazine" if the box contains eMagazines only.

The Flipster Sample Box is a horizontal box using a specific code.

Instructions for changing the box ID in the horizontal box code

• The Rich text/HTML content item with the code is located at the top of the PressReader/Flipster Sample Box.
• Change the box number in the code to the box number of the box in which you want to display the books horizontally. You need to change the number 4 times.
• Be careful not to add extra spaces or override other parts of the code. If the code gets changed it will not work and your covers will not display horizontally.
